Pope: Third volume on Jesus due out at Christmas

(Vatican Radio) - The Vatican publishing house and Italian Publisher Rizzoli signed an agreement Friday for the third volume in Pope Benedict XVI’s Jesus of Nazareth trilogy. According to the agreement Rizzoli will manage the worldwide rights to the book. It was also announced that the Italian language edition is expected to hit stores in time for Christmas. The German language edition, published by Herder [long time publisher of the works of Joseph Ratzinger – ed], will also be ready for publication at Christmas. However, the final title of this the third volume in the trilogy on the figure of Jesus in the Gospel accounts, is still reserved. The date has yet to be announced for the publication of the English language edition. The previous two editions were published in the US by Ignatius Press. The previous volumes were titled Jesus of Nazareth: From the Baptism in the Jordan to the Transfiguration (2007) and Jesus of Nazareth Holy Week: From the Entrance Into Jerusalem To The Resurrection (2011)....
